WA Growers recommend PinG Workshops

Feedback from the 30 workshops delivered in WA since July last year has been extremely positive.

From the 9 Farm Office Efficiencies workshops delivered, 99% of the 114 growers who attended said they would recommend the workshop to others.

8 Technology, Tablets & Tips workshops have been run with 97% of the 90 participants recommending the workshop.

119 people have participated in the Being a Better Boss: Managing People workshop. From the 8 workshops delivered so far, 97% of participants recommend it to others.

Across all workshops both the content and the facilitators are being rated very highly by participants. It's great to see that the voluntary efforts of WA's State Reference Group, in ensuring the workshops are developed and delivered well, are being realised.

Workshop locations and dates are now being planned for the remainder of the year. See the WA Events page for upcoming dates and locations.

July will see the first of WA’s Being a Better Boss - Part 2: Legal Obligations (IR) workshops delivered with a run in the northern ag region.

Workshops are run based on demand, so if you would like a workshop run in your local area in WA, please register your interest here.

These workshops are made possible through funding from GRDC, DAFWA, GrainGrowers and CWA of WA.

DAFWA renews support for PinG WA workshops

For the first part of this year PinG WA was able to deliver an extra 14 workshops to WA growers due to funding from DAFWA.

Due to the success of that project and the positive feedback gained from workshop participants, DAFWA has agreed to continue its support, funding PinG WA to deliver a further 16 workshops this calendar year, with 2 workshops being held in the Kimberley.

DAFWA’s support makes a huge difference to the opportunities we can provide to WA farmers. We continually receive requests from farmers for PinG workshops to be held in their local area. Our partnership with DAFWA dramatically increases our ability to meet this demand.

If you would like a workshop held in your local area, please express your interest via our website's workshop
request form.
