Join us on Zoom to remember Fitzrovia News editor Mike Pentelow (1946-2020)
When we re-launched Fitzrovia News in September 2007 Mike became the editor and features editor and stamped his mark on the paper. Mike had done a lot of local history research for his book Characters of Fitzrovia and he had been writing articles for the paper for a long time, including for Tower, Fitzrovia News' predecessor from 1973 to 1979. Mike's first articles in Tower were in the June 1976 edition. He wrote a feature about an historic murder in the neighbourhood, and he reported on The Kings Arms A team beating the Spaghetti House 4-1 in the 1976 Fitzrovia Festival five-a-side football tournament.
Patrick O'Connell is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting.
