Your committee is back on board for 2021.  Please remember that we are here for advocacy for you - also to support businesses who may want to stage events, big or small so please reach out to us.  We are delighted to have Jared Simcox come on board our committee - if you are interested in joining all of the meeting dates are shown below.

Welcome to re-opened and new businesses in the Village.

It seems that many local businesses are unaware that Tekapo (Hamilton Drive Carpark ) is the alternate start to Mt Cook for the A2O, so we are pleased to welcome Rob Miller as our guest speaker, Rob is an A2O specialist based in Oamaru,

Meeting is 5.30pm Thursday 18th February at 8 Simpson Lane.  Please RSVP here.
A massive THANK YOU to the very hard working TJ McConachie of Tekapo Trails who made these posts for the Lochinvar Track marking from Pollock Place to the Cowans Hill stile.  We have for a very long time seen visitors wandering about wary of walking across what they perceived as 'Private Property' - now the signs will clearly show walkers the way, also thanks to Lorna Inch who first gave us the idea and thanks to Sab Lord who dug the holes and put them all in.
Walter and Sab have been hard at work installing traps (big shout out to DOC for the traps) for Hedgehogs and Mustelids around the south eastern corner of the lake in line with the Predator Free project undertaken by Te Manahuna Aoraki.

Anyone wanting to volunteer to clear the traps please contact Walter Speck on 027 379 8968

Maps - Where to Collect them from

The map books ( $6 each ) are now distributed by the fabulous Annie OSuillivan at her bike hire premises at 8 Simpson Lane.  Please collect and Annie will record and report to us.  Annie is open Tuesday to Sundays from 10-5.
