Easter Weekend at SDFC
Good Friday Service
Tonight, April 15th | 7pm in Brown Chapel
Join us for our Tenebrae style service during which we tell the story of Jesus' death as the sanctuary gradually darkens.
A brief Stations of the Cross walk will be set-up in the foyer of Brown Chapel. Each station is represented by an art piece designed by Scott Erickson. Printed guides that indicate the order, significance and Scriptural reference of each piece will be available for those who would like to participate prior to or following tonight's service.

Easter Sunday Celebration
Sunday, April 17th | 10:30am in Brown Chapel
All are invited to celebrate Christ's resurrection with us during our Easter Sunday morning worship service.

There will also be an opportunity for our kids and families to add to the Flowering Cross during the service. A selection of flowers will be available. Those who are interested in contributing their own flowers are also invited to bring a bouquet or single flower with them on Sunday!

As a reminder, there will be no Sunday School gatherings or other 9am programming this Sunday. Refreshments will be available during a time of fellowship and celebration in the Friendship Plaza beginning at 9:30am that morning.
Easter Jam 2022

The Bible for Everyone

Update in Support of Ukrainian Refugees

As we announced in service this last Sunday, we have the opportunity to participate in relief efforts for the refugees who are coming across our southern border here in San Diego. We are partnering with the Nazarene district and they are partnering with other church organizations to handle thousands who will be granted emergency parole status and relocated from the border to various towns across the country. Our contact point is Spring Valley Church of the Nazarene. They are providing temporary housing and needed goods and services while the processing of paperwork is completed.

Your church (SDFC) has already contributed thousands of dollars in blankets, toiletries, towels, pillows and transportation funds for this effort. We will continue to participate as the weeks unfold. You can contribute funds through our church by giving online via our PushPay giving portal. You can also volunteer to help at Spring Valley, with many different tasks. Signing up to volunteer is simple. Just click this link to fill-out the brief online form. Thank you for your help in this urgent situation.

If you have a prayer request you would like to share, either privately with the church staff or with the SDFC community, please contact the church office at church@sdfcnaz.com or (619) 849-3100.
