We’ve received four calls this year from booksellers living out of their cars and had a gut-wrenching call last week from a couple who are living in their car with a young toddler, yet still opening their store every single day and championing books they love.
Your gift today will provide emergency financial relief to dedicated book and comic sellers and owners across the country and can help with everything from eviction prevention to cancer treatment to funeral expenses for a spouse.
The number of book and comic employees facing unforeseen (non-pandemic) emergencies has more than doubled. Help us reach our goal of $100,000 before the end of the year!
