Dear

As it's Trustees Week, we thought we'd point you in the direction of some useful resources to support current trustees or to help you bring additional digital expertise to your board.. We also wanted to feedback about our flagship Impact Aloud 2016 event. We've had great comments from the 105 attendees - who accessed a range of masterclasses including data visualisation, telling your stories and Google for non profits. We'd like to thank again our charity showreelers, market place stall holders, speakers and sponsors.  You can find out more in our Storify of the day.

We are now waiting to hear whether we secure extension funding for this work, and will let you know as soon as we hear!

Elink.io logo
Elink.io enables you to collect and curate online content and then share via e-newlsetter, web page link or embedded within your own website.  You can install a chrome extension so it's quick and easy to add web pages, social media posts & docs and it automatically pulls in an image and intro text - a great time saver.
There is a charity discount to upgrade to the Work package for £4 a month, which also allows integration with Mailchimp.

We used it for our Top ten useful resources for supporting people and organisations get online in Get Online Week and for our News & Resources - see below.

Thanks Temi from GT Scholars for sharing.

Groundwork logoAfter a number of staff and volunteers attended our Excel training, Groundworks asked us to come and run onsite training for a number of their teams...

"From our perspective, the advantages of holding this training in house are many, and includes individuals and teams being able to bring their needs to the course and find solutions to problems they have experienced in utilising Excel to analyse and monitor data.

There is also the added benefit of mutual understanding and growth as the 10 people who attended will be able to support one another going forward.  There has also been the opportunity to discover new ways of managing and analysing data and this has also provided an injection of best practice in data monitoring and analysis within teams attending.

I highly recommended to any organisation wishing to gain more value and best practice from their use of applications such as Excel "
