Tickets are now on sale!


Head over to Tix on the Square to pick up your tickets for the 2015 festival! You can walk in, call them (780-420-1757) or visit them online (here).

Ticket prices are $30 for adults, $20 for seniors/students, $35 for a special event ticket or $50 for a Festival pass.

Kids under 10 are always free and of course we have Pay What You Will performances on our previews, every Tuesday night and Saturday matinee; as well as Free Student Sundays!

As You Like It Puppet Show: Every Saturday starting at about 1:30pm
Worried that your kids won’t understand the plot to As You Like It? First time to the Festival and a little anxious about Shakespeare? Let Thou Art Here Theatre introduce you to the play through a fun puppet adaptation. 

Canada Day: Wednesday July 1st, doors at 5pm
Canada is turning 148! Let’s celebrate! All veterans and serving military receive a $5 discount for tickets purchased at the gate! Grounds will be opening at 5pm for you to come relax, bring a picnic, watch a short fun puppet performance, eat some cake, and more! 

Shakesbeer Cask Night: Sat July 4th, doors at 6:30pm
Come join us for the first ever Shakesbeer Cask Night! Alley Kat has created something so special, even William himself would go for seconds! Tapping of the cask will begin at 6:45pm, this is a traditional and tasty event that you won’t want to miss! 

It's the 30th anniversary year of The Works Art & Design Festival! The Works kicks off Edmonton's summer festival season, energizing the downtown core with 13 days of mind-altering and compelling art, design, music, and more! Join Us! June 19th - July 1st on and around Sir Winston Churchill Square. The Works features major exhibitions from emerging artists and established talent from Alberta, across Canada and around the world! 


The Works offers volunteer positions in various areas, including staffing exhibits, family programs, greeting and providing information to patrons, patio and beverage garden crew, and more! Volunteers can also choose specific volunteering fields of interest from Festival preparation to marketing Special Events. This is a great way to add to your volunteer experience and learn more about Edmonton and International visual art and design.
