Congratulations to Dr. Sue Quon
At Rideau Hall on Tuesday, April 12, 2016, His Excellency the Right Honourable David Johnston, Governor General of Canada, presided over the inaugural presentation ceremony of the Sovereign’s Medal for Volunteers. The Chair of Freewill Shakespeare Festival, Dr. Sue Quon, was one of the 55 recipients to receive the award which recognizes exceptional volunteer achievements.
Many of you will recognize Sue from the many arts organizations she donates her time and energy to. She is an integral part of the Freewill Shakespeare Festival, not just for her work as Chair, but also for the many hours she puts in during the Festival running our Box Office.
Congratulations Sue for receiving this award,
it is well deserved!
