this week: marvelous monotone!
Hello friends--and happy Monday! Your outfit crush posts from last Friday gave plenty of inspiration for my fall wardrobe. I am so lucky to have such fashionable ladies dreaming alongside me every week--so thank you :)
When I was in Paris this summer, I noticed the Parisian women were on to something: rocking the monotone look. No, I don't mean boring--I mean really putting together an outfit based mostly on one particular hue. For this Friday, let's see how marvelous monotone can be. {Need inspiration? See here and here! For the record, I count monotone as having multiple items in a similar shade--does that make sense?} Any and all fashion posts are welcome, so if you're not a fan of the monotone look, no sweat!
If you have any theme suggestions or banner requests, please send them my way :) Have a great week! xoxo Alison
next week: leaf love!
I don't know about you, but fall always seems to infiltrate my life completely. I love the colors, the weather, everything. For Friday, October 12th, craft an outfit centered around all the pretty leaves. Take the theme wherever you like--it's up to you!
in two weeks: costume prep!
October is here--and so is the perpetual question: what costume will I wear this Halloween? I know that October 19th isn't Halloween, but I wanted to have this week in advance of the actual holiday weekend. If you don't celebrate Halloween, simply use the black and orange color palette as your guide--or create your own theme :)
psst: don't forget to use your BLOG NAME when linking up your post on Fridays--it'll help get you all the recognition you deserve for your hard work. Please also use the DIRECT LINK to your post, rather than just the generic link to your blog so that your Friday's Fancies entry will go straight to your posts weeks and months down the line :) And remember: you always have the freedom to create whatever outfit you like--your only requirement is to dream big and not have to worry about the pricetags!
