Message from the President

I am delighted to report that our MarsKeel display booth in the Darse Sud tent at the 2013 Monaco Yacht Show was very busy and held many client meetings. Our team’s meetings with various clients provided positive indication that a number of builds are on the books and currently in design. Most of the yachts are in the range of 30-55 meters plus for 2014 and 2015 builds.
With an economic climate that has been struggling over the last number of years the indication at the show was very uplifting to say the least. As a result of our attendance at the Monaco Yacht show, our MarsKeel Design Team is currently working on several new projects with many builders and their respective designers.
I would like to personally thank all our current and future clients that met with us in Monaco. We look forward to working with you and
wish you a prosperous new year ahead.

This is a custom keel for the yacht Catari, weighing approx. 15,700 lbs. for Pacific Seacraft, designed by Robert Perry. “The result, is a truly handsome 61-foot ketch that is long and lean and appears to be itching for blue water. Catari has a traditional flair with a springy sheer, ketch rig, counter stern and raked transom. Under the water, Catari has a modern cruising fin keel with the ballast positioned quite low to enhance stability.”- Blue Water Sailing
