Midtown KC Now Monthly Luncheon

April 21 @ 3931 Main, KCMO
11:30 am - 1:00 pm

The Main Corridor Overlay District (MCOD) was adopted by the City in January of 2018. A group of stakeholders, led by Midtown KC Now, worked with the City to create the MCOD and ensure it fits the long-term vision of the corridor. It’s now been four years since adoption, and numerous projects, neighborhoods and businesses have interacted with the Overlay District’s requirements. Midtown KC Now is hosting this luncheon to review what the MCOD is, to talk about what has been done, and discuss its strengths and flaws, as we look to the future.

Kevin Klinkenberg, Midtown KC Now, Executive Director
Jim Edson, Midtown KC Now, Past President
City of KCMO Planning & Development Department

Registration is required with or without lunch reservation.

Deadline with lunch - 4/19 @ noon; Deadline without lunch - 4/20 @ 4:00

Participants will be classified as Panelists and Attendees. Neighborhood Associations will have the opportunity to select 1-2 individuals to speak largely on behalf of their neighborhood as a ‘Panelist’. All other participants will be ‘Attendees’. The Panelists will have an opportunity to ask questions directly to staff concerning their neighborhood. If an Attendee feels that their neighborhood representative has not captured their concerns they can leave questions in the chat and we will address as many as we can live.
