MYF Service Trip Volunteers
We are looking for two adults (one male and one female) to accompany/lead the youth on their service trip this summer to DOOR Chicago. The trip will be July 3-8. While DOOR provides leaders for their portion of the program, we need adults who will be responsible for our group. All of your expenses will be covered. If you are interested, or have questions about this, please speak with Marilyn.
Meals for College Students
Over the years, Berkey has been a wonderful, welcoming church home for many college/young adult students. One of the highlights for the students is having a meal each Sunday after church. This allows them to get to know our church family in a more informal setting and learn to know a wider range of people. You don’t need to make anything fancy – just a simple meal of food you enjoy making. You can host in your home or at the church, using the church kitchen. You may sign up individually, with someone else or as a small group. Thank you so much for your meals and friendship to our students! A new schedule is ready. To sign up visit the Take Them a Meal site
, (username: students; password: bamf).
Stephen Ministry Training
This coming week the Stephen Ministry training class will be considering the subject of "Process versus Results in Caregiving". In this presentation they will be learning the difference between their role as caregivers and God's role as Curegiver. We thank God for the continuing dedication of our Stephen Minister trainees and ask your continued prayers for them and for God's blessings upon their ministries.
