Please join us this Sunday, June 19, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. for an open house & farewell party in the Berkey fellowship hall. We will have homemade pie slices for all, and around 7:00 p.m. we will share some of what we will be doing next year in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Pre-ordered pies will be available for pickup after worship Sunday morning and also during the evening event.
Bible School Report
We had a wonderful week of Bible School! Our themes of “Catch the Spirit” and “Come and See” were lived out in many active ways during the week. Nineteen Berkey Avenue children participated--making new friends, using their talents, and offering money and many items to complete relief kits for refugees in Syria. We couldn’t have had a successful week without the help of many volunteers. A HUGE thank you goes out to:

We have an opening for a custodian at Berkey. Tracy and Tim Thorne have been our custodians for a long time and are moving to Fort Wayne. We are looking for a replacement. This custodian would be responsible for cleaning church each week. Cleaning could be done on Thursdays, Fridays, or Saturdays. Note From the AV Team
We are looking for anyone interested in helping out with the operation of the church Audio and Video system on Sunday mornings.
Following is a list of things to consider -
- No previous experience or special knowledge necessary.
- We will train you, until you are comfortable operating the equipment.
- AV operators take turns working one month rotations.
- Current AV operators have been doing this for many years and enjoy the job.
- Our system is easy to operate.
- You will be making your contribution to the success of our service.
- We need more volunteers.
- We can use any age, male or female.

The theme for our summer program is Building Relationship/Building Community for ages 5-95. We hope you can join us for some fun and relaxing congregational picnics and intergenerational classes this summer that include:
- Art (hands-on projects everyone can do and enjoy).
- Music (music and movement for all ages).
- Games (activities that build community and bring joy).
- Sermon response class.
All the classes require no prior experiences. Just come and be ready to enjoy each other!
Pastor on Vacation
Dan Schrock is on vacation from June 11 through July 10 and will return to work on Monday, July 11.

A wonderful young family from Rick and Joy Hostetter's church in Minneapolis is moving to the Goshen area this summer. Marcos and Jess Stolzfus are Goshen College graduates who have an 18 month old daughter and another child on the way. Marcos will join the leadership team at the Merry Lea Environmental Center mid-July. Because the schedule is very tight, they are looking for temporary housing or house sitting options beginning early July.
