Getting to Know

David Zehr

David Zehr
Hi! My name's David Zehr and I'm a second-year student at Goshen. I enjoy learning about history and religion. I'm originally from Elkhart. I enjoy playing music, good company involving laughing, and making personal connections with folks. Also, I lead a weekly event on my floor called Thinking on Thursdays because I'm the floor Ministry Leader. So if you feel the nudge, every week I'm always looking for people to come speak with about 20 guys about their life stories, specific topics, or things going on in the world around us.  And while I don't have the love for baking which a lot of the previous getting to know you spotlights expressed, I do enjoy eating their culinary creations. Looking forward to getting to know many of you better as the year goes along!

Whether you are new or a charter member, we are continually learning to know each other and we want to get to know you more. It can be very simple, your name, what you do for a living and what you are interested in. You can view our newsletter archive for some examples. Interested in being featured? Let us know!

Did You Know?Goshen Interfaith Hospitality Network provides an opportunity for our community to be actively involved in caring for the needs of homeless families. Berkey’s involvement with GIHN grew out of a small group that included Rita and Jud Gingrich, Tracy and Tim Thorne, Trish and Dale Shenk, Renae and Brian Campbell and Ruth and John Roth.

Do you have an interesting fact about Berkey to share?  Let us know!
