If you have a blessing, a Scripture, a memory, or something else that you would like to share with her, that would be great but not required. Her address is:

Model School Project

Potato ProjectWe have Red Norland potatoes for sale to support our Model School Project. The potatoes are in 5lb bags and are stacked along the west side of the fellowship space. Last year the money raised supplemented field trips for students who could not afford to pay for the activity. We are suggesting a $5 donation for a 5lb bag of potatoes. On Sunday mornings you can put your money in the container by the potatoes.  If you pick up potatoes during the week please place the money in an envelope in James Yoder's mailbox. Checks can be made to Berkey Avenue Mennonite Fellowship. Thank you for your support!

Getting to know

Brandon & Andrea Bontrager-Yoder

getting to know
Brandon and Andrea are GC graduates and spent 9+ years in Wisconsin (mostly Madison). We will celebrate 11 years of marriage this fall, and for 9 of those 11 years, one or both of us had been in school! (We plan to leave all future schooling for our children).  We left Wisconsin to return to Goshen last fall for Brandon to take a job with DVMS, a dairy veterinary practice, which has been a dream of his since his last year of GC. In addition to dairy cows, Brandon enjoys working with goats and sheep, and the four chickens in our backyard.
Our children are Evan (now 3) and Kahlan (now 1) and we felt warmly welcomed back to the Goshen community by friends from our college days. We are enjoying reconnecting with those friends and making many new connections.  Andrea recently began a new position with Bristol Street Pediatrics as a part-time clinical dietitian. She hopes to finding her niche combining her professional interests and skills in nutrition/dietetics, research, and music. Beyond work as a dietitian, she also sings with the area choir Camerata and plans to return to teaching voice lessons. She hopes these skills will also serve well in her more hands-on parenting role than she's been able to do until now.
Outside of work, we enjoy doing projects in and around our home, singing, traveling, vegetable gardening, exploring new recipes, and dreaming about what it will feel like to regularly get more than 2 consecutive hours of sleep. We also enjoy watching our children grow and learn, trying to capture in our minds the hilarious things they do and say.  We look forward to getting to know the BAMF congregation - to becoming involved, to supporting others, and to having a church community to help us all grow and learn!

Whether you are new or a charter member, we are continually learning to know each other and we want to get to know you more. It can be very simple, your name, what you do for a living and what you are interested in. You can view our newsletter archive for some examples. Interested in being featured? Let us know!
