Survey on Our Starting Time
Thank you to all who have participated in our survey. If you have not yet, please take minute to complete it. The purpose of the survey is to discover whether to keep the new start time of 9:30 a.m., or return to the old start time of 9:00 a.m. The Coordinating Council will review the results of this survey and bring a recommendation to the August 18 congregational meeting. Sunday Morning Services
Musicians and worship leaders will be collaborating to finish the prelude and begin the call to worship at 9:30 a.m. Thank you for entering the sanctuary promptly on Sunday mornings.
The Michiana Mennonite Relief Sale is right around the corner and our Penny Power drive continues this Sunday. Pennies are great, but remember you are not limited to pennies! Spare change of quarters and silver dollars adds up much more quickly than pennies. Dollar bills are acceptable, too! Last year the sale had its best year ever with Penny Power raising $50,180 to be used to provide clean, safe and accessible water to people around the world through Mennonite Central Committee and its partners.

Jubilee Renovation Update: Fundraising
Thanks to Anne Berry for creating the Jubilee Fundraising chart hanging across from the mailboxes and to those of you who have supported the Renovation Fund 2013 so far. Each dot on the chart represents $100 that has been contributed. Progress can also be tracked every week in the OWL
in the right column with the statistical report. Let’s keep the contributions coming so that we can fully fund the classroom, nursery and office renovations as we work together to make the changes that increase effective use of our facility. Designate your contribution to “Renovation 2013.” Thanks! ~ The Jubilee Renovation 2013 Fundraising Committee (Phil Zimmerman, Barbara Eichorn and Jim Brenneman).

Mennonite Central Committee seeks contributions to lighten the burden of these children and their families by providing cash for rent, kits to meet basic needs, locally bought food and supplies as well as social and educational support. Please donate online at www.mcc.org/middleeastcrisis
