The junior class fish fry is 4:30-8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 22. Come for an evening of fellowship, homemade pie, and all the fish you can eat. Bethany Christian Middle School will perform The Willow Street Mysteries
at 7:00 p.m. on May 6 and 7. The Willow Street Mysteries is a light-hearted mystery about kids and families, missing items and confusion, and neighbors, and sometimes-friends. Watch as friends and neighbors work together—and against each other—to try to sort out the clues and quickly solve their mystery in time to celebrate Father’s Day. Bright Time Summer Camp, June 6-10, has more than 50 athletic, fine arts, science, and all kinds of fun camps for age 4 through rising grade 8. Camps are $30-$40. Center for Community Justice Mediator Training

The Center for Community Justice needs volunteer mediators committed to peace and justice principles and who have a passion for working with people and the community. Center For Community Justice Peace Walk
Please join us for a friend-raising, fund-raising event on Wednesday, April 20, 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Walker Park in Elkhart. All are welcome. The Center for Community Justice (CCJ), founded in the Mennonite community, is a local not-for-profit organization specializing in the application of Restorative Justice. Much of our funding comes from grants and donations, and in the recent years, we have seen a decrease in both of these areas. What CCJ does is an integral part of a safe and vibrant community and so we are reaching out to the community in an effort to share more about who we are and why funding this organization is so important. The Elkhart County Interdenominational Ministerial Alliance is calling the community to come together to help support the water crisis in Flint, Michigan. Mennonite Healthcare Annual Gathering

Oaklawn Conference on Suicide
On May 5 and 6, Oaklawn will host a day-long conference featuring Kevin Hines, suicide survivor; and Dr. Thomas Joiner, psychology professor at Florida State University and suicide expert, and three break-out sessions focusing on practical application. The seminar will be held from 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. at the Century Center in South Bend. The event is repeated over two days, so attendees may choose which day works best.
