This week, Marilyn is preaching at Olive Mennonite Church, for the ordination of Veva Mumaw. Please pray for Veva and Olive Mennonite that they would experience God's blessing in their ministry together.
Next week, the office will be open as usual on Monday. Priscillah is on vacation beginning on Tuesday. Marilyn will be available on Tuesday and Wednesday. She and Dan will be attending Indiana-Michigan Mennonite Conference annual sessions in Indianapolis Thursday through Saturday.
Second Sunday Summer Picnic
This Sunday, we will have our first of the three summer picnics in the place of Sunday school hour. Please bring only finger foods (sandwiches, chips, relish trays, cookies) for carry-in. Drinks will be provided. Bring your own table service, chairs and/or blankets to eat outside if the weather permits.

Mission Commission: Personal Items Drive
During the month of June, the Mission Commission is sponsoring a Personal Items Drive for the Elkhart County Women’s Shelter. The Elkhart County Women's Shelter is the only domestic violence shelter in Elkhart County. The shelter is open 24 hours a day, 365 days per year to provide crisis intervention and safe shelter for victims of domestic abuse. Items the Shelter currently needs include: deodorant, shampoo, toothpaste, towels, pillows, twin sheets, razors, diapers (Size 4), baby wipes, baby shampoo and diaper rash cream.

The Relief Sale is just around the corner and planning for the Faithful Giving Auction (formerly the New and Used Auction) has begun. The Live Auction will highlight new and quality used household, outdoor and antique items. Bidding will start at 6:00 p.m. in the Quilt Building on Friday night. The Annual Choir Concert
The annual choir concert for the Michiana Relief Sale will take place this fall on Saturday evening, September 26, 2015. There will not be a choir concert on Friday night at the Relief Sale or Sunday evening at Sauder Hall. The Saturday evening concert will be at College Mennonite Church adjacent to the Goshen College campus. Practices for both the Men’s and Women’s choirs will take place at College Mennonite Church and will begin on Sunday, August 23rd. Additional details will follow at a later date.

The Death of Rosie Reschly
Rosie Reschly, who retired in 2011 after serving as executive assistant to seven AMBS presidents over 23 years, died on Wednesday. Sara Wenger Shenk, current president, said, "With gratitude for Rosie's beautiful spirit, resolute courage, unflagging helpfulness, and encouraging attentiveness to the AMBS community and mission over many years. May you rest in peace, dear dear Rosie." The memorial service will be on Monday at Sunnyside Mennonite Church.
