Berkey is growing fast! Meet our newest addition to our church family, Lena and Ana.
Lena Ruth Buller
Lena Ruth Buller was born on Thursday morning, June 11. She arrived at 8 lbs14 oz and 19 3/4" long. Everyone is doing great, feeling well, and they are thankful that Isaac is currently very excited about his role as big brother. They are thankful for all your prayers and encouragement throughout this pregnancy.
Ana Sofia Barahona
Ana Sofia was born Friday, June 12 at 2:29 p.m. She weighed in at 6 lbs 14 oz. and is 18.5'' long. She came within an hour from when the parents arrived in the hospital. Mama and the baby are doing great! Thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers.
We need volunteer janitors to clean the church for July 5, 12 and 19 weekends, while our regular janitors are on vacation. Greg Smucker has volunteered to take care of the sanctuary, we still need help for the rest of the church. Families, small groups, or individuals are welcome to volunteer. This week, we have two new books added to the library. Called to be Amish: My Journey from Head Majorette to the Old Order
by Marlene Miller which is a first-hand tale of the trials and joys of nearly fifty years of life as an Amish convert from near Massillon, Ohio. Hutterite Diaries: Wisdom from My Prairie Community
by Linda Maendel, is an insightful look into Hutterite colony life from an insider who not only describes what life is like there but why things are done in particular ways.

MCC Relief Sale News
Relief Sale dates: September 25 – 26, 2015
The Relief Sale is just around the corner and planning for the Faithful Giving Auction (formerly the New and Used Auction) has begun. The Live Auction will highlight new and quality used household, outdoor and antique items. Bidding will start at 6:00 p.m. in the Quilt Building on Friday night. The Annual Choir Concert
The annual choir concert for the Michiana Relief Sale will take place this fall on Saturday evening, September 26, 2015. There will not be a choir concert on Friday night at the Relief Sale or Sunday evening at Sauder Hall. The Saturday evening concert will be at College Mennonite Church adjacent to the Goshen College campus. Practices for both the Men’s and Women’s choirs will take place at College Mennonite Church and will begin on Sunday, August 23rd. Additional details will follow at a later date.

Marcy Hostetler "83 to Direct International Cast at MWC
Marcy Hostetler is a natural to lead the 19-member international ensemble of singers and instrumentalists at the Mennonite World Conference Assembly in Harrisburg next month. "I have a lot of experience abroad," said Hostetler, choral director at Lancaster Mennonite High School. Read more

Grief Support Group
Silverwood Mennonite Church will be hosting a GriefShare Support Group on Monday evenings, June 22 - September 21, 6:30-8:30 p.m. Griefshare is a special weekly seminar/support group for people grieving the death of someone close. It's a place where you can be around people who understand how you feel and the pain of your loss. At Griefshare, you'll learn valuable information that will help you through this difficult time in your life. The cost is $20 per person or $30 per couple. Registration will take place on the first evening. Anyone is welcome to attend at any time during this session as each session is self-contained. Senior Adult Bus Trip
Yellow Creek Mennonite Church Senior Adults has planned a one day bus trip to Blue Gate Restaurant and Theatre, Thursday, September 3.
