Note from Wilma Shank
"Dear Friends, your many cards and messages have been heartwarming and a real encouragement as I have worked at the very intense and beneficial work of physical therapy. It's so good to have an assembly of faith remembering me in prayer."
Wilma Shank returned home last Friday, October 23, after being in physical therapy for several weeks after knee surgery.

Meals for College Students
Over the years, Berkey has been a wonderful, welcoming church home for many college/young adult students. One of the highlights for the students is having a meal each Sunday after church. This allows them to get to know our church family in a more informal setting and learn to know a wider range of people. You don’t need to make anything fancy – just a simple meal of food you enjoy making. You can host in your home or at the church, using the church kitchen. You may sign up individually, with someone else or as a small group. Thank you so much for your meals and friendship to our students! You can sign up for the meals at takethemameal.com Username: students Password: bamf.
Learning Tour to Bolivia
Missions Commissions has been in conversation with Becca and Simon Smucker and MCC about a Learning Tour to Bolivia. We were hoping to go in June of 2016, but due to transitions in personnel at MCC Bolivia, we need to postpone the trip. It will most likely happen in 2017. In the meantime, we are exploring ways to connect with Simon and Becca, as well as Hannah Canaviri and Gretchen Geyer.

Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary
Join a webinar on Thursday, November 12, 2:00-3:30 pm with Greg Boyd and Drew G.I. Hart discussing how the Neo-Anabaptist movement in North America can engage "Anablactivism" and vice-versa. Drew's research, focused on the intersection of Black theology and Anabaptism, invites us to consider the potential of Anablacktivism for inspiring Christ's followers to faithful action today. We will ask Greg and Drew to consider how Neo-Anabaptism both challenges and sometimes acquiesces to systems of injustice, and what can be done to harness the energy and wisdom of both efforts for the sake of God's reign.
