Note from Brian and Lisa Showalter

babyWe give thanks for the birth of Julian Zane Showalter! He was born a whopping month early, on October 26. While small (4 lbs. 13 oz.), he is completely healthy, experiencing no complications from the early arrival. We rejoice in, and are completely enchanted with this new member of our family. Thank you for the love and support that you sent with us as we began our journey to both life in Tucson, and to parenthood.

Potatoes for Model School

Potatoes for ModelThe Kennebec potatoes from the church garden are available in the fellowship hall. We are suggesting a $5 donation for each 5 lb. bag of potatoes. On Sunday mornings you can put your money in the container by the potatoes. If you pick up potatoes during the week please place the money in an envelope in James Yoder's mailbox.Thank you for your support!

Meals for College Students

Meals for college studentsOver the years, Berkey has been a wonderful, welcoming church home for many college/young adult students. One of the highlights for the students is having a meal each Sunday after church. This allows them to get to know our church family in a more informal setting and learn to know a wider range of people. You don’t need to make anything fancy – just a simple meal of food you enjoy making. You can host in your home or at the church, using the church kitchen. You may sign up individually, with someone else or as a small group. Thank you so much for your meals and friendship to our students!  You can sign up for the meals at Username: students  Password: bamf.

Throwback Thursday

facebookHead on over to our Facebook page for a photographic collection of our early history -- complete with difficult to recognize building features, incredible hairstyles and clothing, and who knows what else we will dig up! Play along and see if you can spot anybody you know, and don't forget to like our page if you haven't already!
