Four-Week Bible Study

Bible StudyBen Woodward Breckbill is offering a Bible Study on Isaiah 53, a prophetic passage used extensively by the New Testament. The study will take place on Monday mornings at 10:00, beginning on October 26. Over the course of this study we will practice reading the Bible together, getting to know each other and the passage. We will read this passage in conversation with the rest of the Bible, seeing how it engages Isaiah, the rest of the Old Testament, and the New Testament. Child care will be available during this time. RSVPs are not necessary. Come as you are able! For questions or concerns, contact Ben or Laura Moshier regarding child care.

Nursery Valences

ValencesHave you noticed the cheerful valences in the nursery and in all the Sunday School rooms? Have you noticed the lovely wall quilts in the Jubilee Hall? Meredith Yoder made all the valences and quilted the wall quilts. Thank you, Meredith!

Potatoes for Model School

Potatoes for ModelMore Potatoes: The Kennebec potatoes dug at our recent “field trip” are now available in 5 pd. bags and they are stacked along the west side of the fellowship space. We are suggesting a $5 donation for a 5 pd. bag of potatoes. On Sunday mornings you can put your money in the container by the potatoes. If you pick up potatoes during the week please place the money in an envelope in James Yoder's mailbox. Checks can be made to Berkey Avenue Mennonite Fellowship. Thank you for your support!

Meals for College Students

Meals for college studentsOver the years, Berkey has been a wonderful, welcoming church home for many college/young adult students. One of the highlights for the students is having a meal each Sunday after church. This allows them to get to know our church family in a more informal setting and learn to know a wider range of people. You don’t need to make anything fancy – just a simple meal of food you enjoy making. You can host in your home or at the church, using the church kitchen. You may sign up individually, with someone else or as a small group. Thank you so much for your meals and friendship to our students!  You can sign up for the meals at takethemameal.com Username: students  Password: bamf.
