Please consider joining our MYF to help with LaCasa’s Help-A-House project on Saturday, May 9. Through the Help-A-House program LaCasa organizes volunteers to repair the homes and improve neighborhoods in Goshen. Last year our group from Berkey helped clean out a house that LaCasa was preparing to remodel. The day begins with a pancake breakfast served by the Goshen Exchange club from 7:00 a.m. - 8:00 a.m. The work project usually goes through early afternoon. Please let

In the coming year, four students from Berkey will be attending Bethany Christian Schools. The estimated tuition cost for these students will be $41,763. Since we already have $38,639.72 in the Bethany fund, we only need $3,123.28 by April 30. If you'd like to contribute, write your check to Berkey Avenue Mennonite and mark it for "Bethany Fund."
know. Each plot is 12’ x 24’, there is a fence around it, and there is water piped out to the garden. A load of manure was put on last fall. Thanks to Sherm Kauffman who is having his brother do soil tests for us to get the best results. You are not limited to one plot. A $5.00 donation per plot is suggested for manure and preparation of the garden. Plots should be ready the first part of May.
Bethany Christian's biannual Fish Fry will be happening on April 24, 2015 from 4:30 - 8:00 p.m. in the High School Gym. Adult tickets cost $10 and children's tickets (grades K-6) cost $5, while children pre-school and younger get in free. Carryout is from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. in the High School Cafeteria and each Carryout ticket costs $10. Tickets will be available every Sunday from Nick Schrock, Jane Wang, and Kyle Snyder.

Bright Time Summer Camp
June 8-12, has more than 50 athletic, fine arts, science, and all kinds of fun camps for age 4 through rising grade 8. Camps are $30-$40. Additionally, Shine On Campcare will provide a place for children for before, between, and after their camps. View camp listings and register online

The GC Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Dr. Christopher Fashun, will present its spring concert in Sauder Concert Hall on Friday, April 17, 2015 at 7:30 p.m. The program, titled “Something Old, Something New

Goshen College faculty, staff and student women will perform stories about friendship, sexuality, body image, trauma and triumph in the second annual Goshen Monologues on Tuesday, April 14. Trip to Egypt

Safwat Marzouk, Old Testament professor who grew up and studied in Egypt, and AMBS President Sara Wenger Shenk will lead the experience. The trip will give participants unparalleled opportunities to learn about the history and current challenges of the area, the biblical stories within the history, and the spirituality woven into the culture of ancient and contemporary life. Participants will tour ancient sites as well as learn from Christians and Muslims for whom Egypt is home. Elkhart County Clubhouse Fundraiser
Write your name in history and help put a new slate roof on the Elkhart County Clubhouse! On a new slate tile, come sign your name or a friend's name, a short note, or your dreams for Goshen in the next 100 years - $20 donation. It'll be part of our new roof, ready for another century! Also available, 125 year old slate tile--$35 donation. The money will be going towards matching a grant by the US Department of Interior National Park Services Historic Preservation Fund, administered by the Indiana DNR division of Historic Preservation & Archeology.
