The agenda for the August 9 congregational meeting is to:
1. Approve minutes of the July 12 meeting.
2. Approve the 2015-16 budget.
3. Hear a summary of the pastoral-congregational evaluation which was completed in the spring.
4. Hear a summary of our ongoing conversation about space issues.
Berkey Worship Team
Do you play an instrument? Consider joining our new worship team. There has been a number of musicians, young and old, helping to accompany congregational singing during a few worship services this past month. We plan to accompany again during the August 2nd worship service. Parts are available for your instrument and your level of experience - from beginners on up. Model Elementary Announcements
BAMF along with Faith Lutheran and Greene Road Churches are supporting staff at Model School this year. BAMF is furnishing a noon meal for the staff (approx. 70) on Tuesday, August 4 at BAMF. We need several people to help plan, fix, and serve the meal. If you can help with this please, contact Lowell Nafziger
- BAMF has been assigned to collect at least 25 pair of girls underwear, sizes XS/S/M sizes. Bring to the church and place in box by the mailboxes. They would like to have these by August 5.
- We will be furnishing a treat for the staff (70) the months of October, January, and April. These can be individual treats that are placed in their mailboxes or large servings in a bowl or two. We encourage a note attached for the teachers such as: We are praying for you, or a Bible verse, etc. If you would like to do this Lowell Nafziger. This can be done by individuals or groups of people.

Boys Basketball Alumni
Former boys basketball players and coaches from 1979-2015 are invited to participate in a celebration honoring Coach Jim Buller's legacy, at 2:00-7:00 p.m. this Saturday, July 25. The celebration will include 3-on-3 and pick-up games, supper, and a program. Jim would be honored if as many of you could attend (bring your families). GC Board of Directors updates Non-Discrimination Policy
On July 17-18, the Goshen College Board of Directors met. “After a multi-year review of our current hiring practices, offering prayers for divine guidance, listening to and consulting various constituencies and key stakeholders, and considering relevant legal changes, we voted to update the institutional Non-Discrimination Policy,” said Conrad Clemens, chair of the Goshen College Board of Directors.
