All Church Picnic
To kick off our summer quarter we are planning an All Church picnic after the worship service next Sunday, June 5. Please bring along your favorite summer picnic dishes of salads, finger foods and desserts to share. Also, bring along lawn chairs, blankets, and lawn games. Weather permitting we'll plan to eat outside in the side lawn and enjoy sunshine, food, lawn games and fellowship time together. The Roth/Moshier Small Groups are hosting.
The Leadership Discernment Team (Dan Williams, Lavonn Hostetler, Abbe Buller, and Dan Schrock) is pleased that the following persons have agreed to serve on our commissions and in other roles. We will vote to affirm these during the June 12 worship service.

Worship Series on the Senses
During the month of May, the Worship Commission has arranged for a special series on the five senses. Our overall theme is “Awaken us, God, to who we are!” Although our five senses are integral parts of our embodied human experience, we aren't always aware of the role these senses play in our life with God. Our goal in this series is to explore some of the ways the senses enhance our relationship with God.

New to Our Library
by Sharon Baker, is a book referred to when Dan Schrock preached a sermon on hell. This book is useful to Christians struggling to reconcile Jesus' sacrifice and a loving God with the place of punishment and the necessity for justice. Baker explores where traditional views of hell come from and how important it is that we be open to rethinking them.
