Trouble Opening Files On Your PC?

Welcome to the November 2013 edition of the CompuClever email newsletter.  In this article we delve into a common annoyance – not being able to open a file.  We begin by providing some cautionary information on making certain a file is safe to open.  This involves going to the source and if the source is a website… you can go through a simple set of steps to determine the reputation of the site and if it distributes malicious or fraudulent content. 

Once you can feel safe that a file is safe to open, it’s time to find out what isn’t working.  To do this we use PC TuneUp Maestro to get the job done.  Following a simple set of instructions will solve the problem.
