Vendors will have all their new gear. There are some new things in spey that will blow your minds. There will be lots of the new lightweight rigs that are becoming extremely popular in addition to new lines to demo.

During all the activities we'll have continental breakfast for all guests from 9am to 11am. Refreshments will be available until 2pm.

New Additions to Nor-Cal Spey Day!

Jason Hartwick
We are pleased to announce that Jason Hartwick, who is one of California's most accomplished spey guides and anglers, will also be joining us for the inaugural Nor-Cal Spey Day.

Jason is on the pro staff with Sage, RIO, and Simms and operates Steelhead On The Spey guide service which specializes in the waters of the North Coast. He will be on-hand to help instruct and answer questions!

Donna O'Sullivan
Donna recently won the women's division for Spey-O-Rama 2015, silver medalist in the 2010 World Championship of Fly Casting in Norway for 15ft and 16ft spey distance and salmon distance competitions, 2-hand salmon distance competition at the 2013 American Casting Association Nationals. Gold medalist for the 16ft spey distance competition at the 2010 World Championship of Fly Casting in Norway.

Getting to the event is relatively easy. It is very close to Highway 50 and can be accessed from Sunrise Blvd. Parking fees are $5 per car. There are well over 250 parking spaces at the Sacramento Bar Park. And, as you can see by the illustration, there are plenty of wide open spaces to try your hand with a spey rod.
