(and takes a break)
It's Spring Break WOOOOOOO...
...Ow, my back.

I'm not a youth anymore. I can't get that excited over a break that I don't even get to take. And, to be honest, I never really took to begin with.

That's right. Your friendly, neighborhood designer was an academic overachiever. Spring Break was a time for catching up on reading, finishing projects, and seeing how I could get ahead in mini-mesters.

How lame.

So, I'm living vicariously through, and with, Charlie. As he's only 8 and has no choice in the Spring Break matter. I'll be working half days and half evenings so we can spend the middle parts of the day watching cartoons, crafting, reading, playing, and jumping around... until my back gives out.

See below for my updated schedule, and be prepared for photos of what we create in the coming days.
Last Week In Design
In a last minute panic, I was tagged to design a quick E3 logo for The Crisman School. One of my favorite little dudes is twice exceptional (2e), and just generally amazing. The Crisman School is dedicated to working with these students at every level. It is truly a unique learning environment and I am so proud to be friends with one of the teaching staff and their brilliant offspring.
Spring Break Schedule
I changed the schedule a little to get the most out of Charlie's time.

(Remember, I am only an "EvilISH" stepmother, after all.)

Friday, March 6 - Monday, March 16: 8:00am - 12:00pm, 5:00pm - 8:00pm
This is Spring Break for Charlie so I'll be working half days and half evenings.

On A Personal Note...

The Doctor is in. 5¢
Charlie had to do a space diorama. So we made one inside a telescope with glow-in-the-dark paint. We got a 100! (yes, WE).
