Help us Publish 500 Copies of Words Unlocked 2016 Poetry Anthology
As a part of #Giving Tuesday, we are asking you to help us publish and share 500 copies of our Words Unlocked 2016 Poetry Anthology.
The Words Unlocked 2016 Poetry Anthology includes 100 poems written by incarcerated students who participated in our poetry initiative, Words Unlocked, last spring. We want to send a copy of the Anthology to each student who has a poem included the book, and to share a copy of the Anthology with teachers across the country who teach in juvenile justice facilities.
The Words Unlocked 2016 Poetry Anthology is being published for CEEAS by a new partner, Jewell High School, a small, public school located on the Oregon coast. Jewell has a student printing business. A teacher at the school heard about Words Unlocked, reached out to us and offered to print the Anthology for us at a reduced rate. For $10 we will be able to both print and ship a copy of the Anthology to a student in confinement.
Please help us raise $5,000 to publish and share 500 copies of Words Unlocked 2016 Poetry Anthology with students in youth facilities all around the country.
