Transformation Time
What does transformation mean to you? I want to know. In a time where the truth is being revealed everywhere - finally, as if we haven't been saying it all along - I want to know where do we go from here? How do we transform? Well here's my long overdue note to you all of my own personal transformation in process - learning about the work of solidarity economy organizations across the country through my role organizing communicators via the New Economy Coalition, doing the local cultural organizing prefiguring the world we want to see on the ground via my hometown festival La Isla Bonita Festival and Sacramento's Sol Collective, joining the board of an exciting new music streaming cooperative Resonate, and holding myself more accountable which I've been learning so much from the organizing of fluid collective, Get Artists Paid. So where do we go from here? What do you think? I always love hearing from you!  ~nati

Updated Website

Sometimes, things are moving so quickly that it's hard to reflect on all the work that's been done over the last 5 years. I took the opportunity of the holiday to update my past and present projects like MANANA, El Bles, Nani Castle and Sol Life. Check it out!

What's Your New Year's Revolution?

It’s time for a New Year’s Revolution--an evolution of ourselves and our communities. 2018 is our year--join us in dreaming and achieving a new vision of the future. We have to imagine it to do it.

As we count down to the new year, we want you to see the faces and hear the voices of the real people who are making their dreams a reality: dreams of a different way of life, grounded in deep democracy, sustainability, and human rights. These leaders come from Boston to DC to North Carolina to California and more. They're working with their communities to take control of their resources and the decisions that affect their lives, and they're organizing for justice and respect for the earth.

We want you to hear the revolution they want to see for themselves and the world in 2018. And we want you to see how they're building collective power by being part of a nationwide network, New Economy Coalition

Thank you for your vision, heart, and support for this movement. We're in it together, and we need you. What's your New Year's Revolution? Tweet @neweconomics #newyearsrevolution. Contribute to the campaign here!

Protest Platforms: Resonate

What does it mean for music to protest in 2017? The inherently politicized nature of music means there have always been countless ways to answer that question. How does music embody or interrogate history? What is said and not said? Are the sounds new or challenging? How was the music released? Who gets a platform and who does not? Learn about Resonate, a new music streaming platform cooperative where you Stream2Own!

Just some things I've been listening & reading for lately. What about you?
