Wishing You a Happy Turkey Day
Lamb Shoppe will be closed Thursday, November 22nd for Thanksgiving. But fear not, you can still knit while you are digesting. If you need to freshen up your center piece for next year, check out this Mayflower Mice pattern.

This year, the more you spend the more you save!

On Friday, November 23rd, for every $25 spent, you will receive a $5 gift certificate good through December 31, 2018. But hurry - supplies are limited.
For Small Business Saturday 2018 we want to show how much we appreciate you, our customers and friends. Without you, we could not do whatever it is that we do. Do be do be do.

Come to the Shoppe on Saturday, November 24th and enjoy a beverage and some light fare while you look for your next project. When you find a new project and purchase the yarn in our store, we'll throw in the pattern for FREE.

If you're reading this, then you probably don't need a beginning knitter course, but everyone could use more friends. Here's an opportunity to get your friends addicted to the fine fiber art that has occupied your hands and your time from that first warm embrace of supple cashmere to that fourth artisan yarn bowl that rounded out your collection. No, this class isn't for you - it's for the friends you wish you could spend more time with, if only they would learn to make fine things with spun wool. Time to get them hooked. Starting September 8th.
Tempo Cowl

Learn next-level skills such as the provisional cast on, stranded colorwork, and I-cord bind off while making a beautiful two color cowl. This Shibui pattern is knit up in super-soft Maai (mah-ah-ee).  A Shibui alpaca and wool blend chainette DK yarn you will love to squish!.  Rachel will be teaching this class.

Building Blocks

Back by popular demand. Building Blocks was created to move the new knitter beyond the basics by introducing the major knitting techniques in a systematic approach. Each block builds upon the skills of the previous block, allowing the knitter to gain confidence and knowledge while working towards a beautiful sample afghan.

Hey Whitney! What's on your needles?
Ready or not, the holidays are here! As some of you might know, I flew to Chicago to visit family this Thanksgiving. Rather than spend all my time knitting selfish projects, I realized I needed something cute and quick to whip up on the plane.

Enter: Top This Hats. These projects are a triple threat: they are adorable, fast, and easy on the wallet. Plus the options are endless - I chose the fox and raccoon for my nephews. I casted on while in the car on our the way to the airport and got both of these hats done before we landed in Chi-town. Done and done. Now I have the rest of my trip to finish knitting something, for myself.
