COMMUNITY REMINDER: BCA DRESS CODE
We’re finally getting some consistent warmer weather and as your kids start to break out their spring and summer clothing, it’s important to remember the BCA Dress Code. We are seeing many students wearing clothing with visible logos or patterns on them. Please double check your children’s clothing choices in the morning. If you have any questions about the BCA Dress Code, please refer to this link.
NURSE’S DESK UPDATE
There has been one new case of COVID-19 at BCA in the past week. Students in grade 7, as well as all MS students on the track team, are encouraged to monitor for symptoms and stay home and get tested if they develop a symptom.
As COVID moves from Pandemic to Endemic, things continue to change. Here are the updates this week:
- The Governor's Executive Order for Isolation and Quarantine has expired and has been allowed to end. This means that there is no longer a state requirement to isolate for 5 days for those who test positive; it is now just "strongly recommended.'' This also means that there is no longer a requirement for unvaccinated household contacts to quarantine for 5 days; that is now "strongly recommended" as well.
- BCA students and staff should still test negative before returning to school after having a cough or two or more symptoms, however, a negative at-home test is acceptable.
- Playbook Version 9.0 can be found here but is expected to be updated again soon.
- Here are the general School Health Guidelines and Protocols for BCA.
