Jesus' prayer for unity, in person Refresh 2022 retreat, #GivingTuesday Awaken the Ezer
OUR GOD WHO HEARS
Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them. (Matthew 18:19-20)

WOW! treasures the opportunities and invitations we receive to pray with one another. In these moments we entrust to our faithful and trustworthy God what we carry together and wait in wonder to see how God will respond in intimate and loving ways. Thank you for lifting us with your prayers.
JESUS' PRAYER FOR UNITY
Prayer is what gave birth to WOW! and the different expressions of how we pursue our vision of Seeing Sisters Soar. As our Exploration of Ezer teaching series comes to a close in December; we are looking forward to how God will deepen this journey toward unity through our Ezer Communities teaching series in 2022. Pray alongside us about how and who you would like to invite into this ministry of the Word and consider supporting our Awaken the Ezer #GivingTuesday campaign goal of $8.000 on November 30th.
WOMEN OF UNCERTAINTY by Milly Silencio
Uncertainty has become a constant companion in our daily journey. What can the experiences of Abigail, the Syrophoenician/Canaanite woman, and the Captive Little Maid offer us in times of uncertainty? How does Abigail's quick-wittedness, the Syrophonecian woman's decision to continue pressing in with faith and humility, and the Captive Little Maid speaking life in captivity help us adapt and discern the course of action God is calling us to take today? Milly Silencio shares her story of how these 3 women in the bible who lived in uncertainty became her ezer mentor in showing compassion for our neighbors. How do you believe God is inviting you to respond as an ezer kenegdo in times of uncertainty?
The role of an ezer is seldomly taught as a role for both men or women to pursue graciously or honorably for God’s redemptive work. It is often misused as a measure of secondary value or status for women. The word ezer/helper has been misunderstood using modern day context to define the word helper. It is time to unleash its true alignment with God as our ezer. Its implication is that all are called to be ezers.
Join us next Wednesday at 12pm EST as Marilyn Law leads us in Give Thanks (Hebrews 12:1-3)
Each month we gather on the 4th Wednesday for our contemplative prayer times. We believe God will respond to our presence by taking all we are currently experiencing in refining and purifying the faith, hope, and love we offer ourselves and others.
