Happy Spring! Flowers are starting to bloom . . . and the new IMPACT 100 year is off to a great start! Our 2013 journey to significantly transform lives through high-impact and lifelong giving could not start soon enough!
During our Membership Drive I encourage you to take our "POWER OF ONE" theme to heart. It starts with YOU...ONE person, ONE dream, ONE hundred thousand dollar grant(s) and the POWER to change lives right here at home. What a difference, as women joining together, we can make on a community we love so much.
IMPACT 100 is a proven organization that has awarded $1,462,000 to 13 worthy non-profits in just 7 years. Our passion speaks for itself and I am humbled and inspired by ALL the women who have made this dream come true. Now, imagine the possibilities and the lives we can change this year alone!! Remember, the POWER OF ONE… It all begins with YOU!

Suzanne Miles Hello everyone from the membership world! A friendly reminder that we need you and every other lady you know to join IMPACT 100 for 2013. If you have already signed your membership for 2013, THANK YOU! If you know of anyone that still needs to be reached out to, please e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 270-929-8429. I would love the opportunity to share the past success and help pave the way for the future success of IMPACT 100.
A couple great events are coming up for IMPACT 100. First one is Tuesday, March 26th from 5-7 pm at Gambrinus located at 116 A W. 2nd Street. This evening we have extended an invitation to the Emerge and Leadership Owensboro Alumnus. We will share information about IMPACT 100 and answer any questions. If you are a member, thinking about being a member, or simply want to come to socialize, come alone or bring your friends downtown. Everyone is welcome!
The second information event is Wednesday, March 27th from 7-9 am at Great Harvest at 3211 Frederica Street. This also is a come and go gathering. IMPACT 100 members will be available to share information and answer questions. So if you know of someone that may be interested, please extend the invite. The after hours and coffee meet are completely open to everyone. Please come and bring someone with you so we can share the good news of IMPACT 100 and the "impact" it has made on our community. There is still alot of work to do and we need everyone whether it is by membership or friendship for IMPACT 100!
Clock is ticking for "The Power of One"....Be THE ONE!

Owensboro has an enhanced 9-1-1 service called Smart911 available for free to all residents. The Owensboro-Daviess 9-1-1 center is encouraging all citizens to create a Safety Profile at www.smart911.com, and provide 9-1-1 with the information they need to assist you in the event of an emergency. A profile can include as much or as little information as you want, such as:
Members of your family and any medical conditions, medications or allergies
Mobile phone numbers tied to home or work addresses
Your emergency contacts, vehicle information and even pets
Smart911 is 100% private and secure. The only time a profile is seen is when you call 9-1-1. The profile immediately displays to call takers, which allows first responders to assist you faster and more effectively. Create you profile today at www.smart911.com.
