The Greatest Gift to Flow Is Love (one of the fruit of the spirit)
Luke 6:32-36King James Version (KJV)
32 For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them. 33 And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same. 34 And if ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye? for sinners also lend to sinners, to receive as much again. 35 But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil. 36 Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.
Being kind to evil people who want to hurt you is not easy. It takes killing your flesh and taking on the character of God to love them. If you are able to forgive first and then love - which means pray for them and bless them, then you are truly pressing towards perfection in grace and holiness. You are truly a child of God and walking in true spirit of the Lord. These are necessary ingredients to be used mightely of the Lord - flowing in the nine (9) gifts of the Lord.
Paul said in 1 Corinthians 14:1 "Pursue love, an desire spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy."
The new testament Great Commandment in Matthew 22:37-39 "Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, You shall love your neighbor as yourself." This hangs all the law of the prophets - the ten commandments but written on our heart.
Love is the Fruit of the Spirit
It is impossible to be obedient to the commandments of God or stay out of sin, if you do not love God or others - your neighbor. If we flow with love and forgiveness, then we will stay in the fruit of the spirit. Without love it is impossible to walk in love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance according to Gal. 5:22-23.
Looking at 4 Hate Your Brother Bible Verses
1 John 4:20 "If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?"
John 13:35 "By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another."
1 John 2:9 "Anyone who claims to be in the light but hates a brother or sister is still in the darkness."
1 John 2:11 "But anyone who hates a brother or sister is in the darkness and walks around in the darkness. They do not know where they are going, because the darkness has blinded them."
These four (4) scriptures are powerful saying if you hate your brother or sister you are in darkness, blinded and a liar. Let's look at Darkness.
Walk in Darkness No Love
Darkness” comes from the Greek word “skotia”. It means “physical darkness, ie. the absence of light” or “spiritual darkness”, ie. “moral blindness”. This sense of “skotia” is where a person lies habitually (1:6b), where he hates his fellow human (2:9). He has no moral illumination (2:11). Without love for others will follow the fruit of the flesh are gossip, murmur and complain, judgmental towards others, falsehood, discord, hatred self-seeking, prideful and boastful and moral blindness emanate and propagate”.
We know that God is "Light" (1:5), He is "in the Light" (1:7), "there is no darkness in Him at all" (1:5). Therefore we conclude that there is no trace of God in "the darkness". As well, "if we walk in the Light, ... we have fellowship with each other..." and Jesus forgives our sins (1:7). This means that "the darkness", being the opposite, is a place where there is the absence of fellowship. This person in darkness is blind to his sins, as described in 1 Jn. 2:11.
Walk in the Light There is Love
John says to "walk in truth" is "to love each other" (2 Jn. 1:5), which means to "walk according to His (God's) commandments" (2 Jn. 1:6). We have just seen in 1 Jn. 1:7 that walking in the Light means we have fellowship with each other.
If you have Christ love you are not going to hurt other people around you. In Romans 13:10 says "10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law."
Love Never Kills
If a man truly loves his neighbour, he will contrive no ill against him, nor do any to him; he will not injure his person, nor defile his bed, nor deprive or defraud him of his substance; or do hurt to his character, bear false testimony against him, or covet with an evil covetousness anything that is his; but, on the contrary, will do him all the good he is capable of.
Who is your neighbor? They are the people around you in your church, your home, in your workplace in the store, etc. That means dying to self and forgiving others when they hurt you. Also, loving others (loving people the way God loves His children) and flowing in any of the nine gifts: gift of wisdom, gift of knowledge, gift of faith, gift of healing, gift of miracles, gift of prophecy, gift of discernment, gift of tongues, gift of interpretation you are flowing in the true spirit of the Lord. You are not under the flesh.
When you truly walk in Love then you are touching and bringing life to people - that is being used by God. When you minister in healing, deliverance, prophecy with God's Love, you are doing it truly unto the Lord and not self.

If you have hurt other people, take the time to go to them and repent to them. I know I have had to do that in my life. I felt like Nebuchadnezzar - He was driven away from people and ate grass like the ox. It is very humbling.
