A FOUNDATION OF EDUCATION

Since our inception more than 40 years ago, the West Orange Chamber (WOCC) has striven to support, encourage and educate the future leaders of our community. With programs such as the West Orange Program for Tomorrow's Entrepreneurs and our numerous topical luncheons, the WOCC is always focused on the future.

The Chamber's W.O.P.T.E. Program kicks off next month with a team building day at YMCA Camp Wewa. This program, an acronym for West Orange Program for Tomorrow's Entrepreneurs, partners with Junior Achievement of Central Florida and The Deb Linden Foundation to  raise the awareness of our youth regarding the West Orange County business community and all it has to offer.

Coming this Thursday is the Chamber's Courses to Careers Luncheon.  This event, presented by Luncheon Series Sponsor, Florida Hospital - Winter Garden, Venue Sponsor, Valenica College and Participating Sponsors, OCPS Tech Centers, and UCF will address these issues: Is there a talent gap in your industry? What steps are local leaders taking to train our future workforce? You will hear from a panel of experts on how your future employees & co-workers are being trained to build a better, stronger business community. There are a few seats still left available. Reserve your seat today.

In recent weeks, we have also seen many of our education partners announce fantastic news. Click the links below for news from OCPS, UCF and Valencia.
