As the leading business advocate in Central Florida, The West Orange Chamber of Commerce (WOCC) is committed to building partnerships, strong businesses and a commitment to our community and its future. The WOCC is very involved in the support of the young men and women who will continue to lead this thriving business community in the next 10, 20 and even 30 years. As part of that commitment, we plan to:

  • Heighten awareness of the high caliber educational system in West Orange County to the business community.
  • Spearhead a program in which businesses will educate students on marketable skills for future employment.
  • Create an opportunity for educational institutions to open a direct career path pipeline to our local businesses for specific job placement and training needs. 

Below are a few updates on our education efforts in 2015: 



The West Orange Chamber’s Leadership West Orange Program, sponsored by Florida Hospital, completed their fifth session focused on Healthcare.  The class visited the Florida Hospital Downtown campus including a sneak peak of the Florida Hospital for Women,Orlando Health Downtown Campus including the newest Orlando Health Tower and Trauma Center, Health Central and finally a hard hat tour of Florida Hospital Winter Garden

WOCC President, Stina D'Uva and Vice President, Krista Carter attended the Orange County Economic Summit on January 15th. The event included updates on Orange County's economic forecast, an international trade overview and an update on their new branding campaign - "Orlando, You Don't Know the Half of It".
