|The Center on Central offers programs in art, drawing, music, pottery, bead making, and theater (and is conveniently located within a 3 minute walk from the Paoli train station).
On Tuesdays and Thursdays, beginning March 20 and continuing through June 14, we will hold coworking sessions at The Center on Central! Children will participate in arts activities upstairs while adults enjoy Wi-Fi, camaraderie, and productivity downstairs.
Tuesdays & Thursdays
March 20 - June 14, 2012
10:00am - 2:00pm
Cost: $40/day per child enrolled
(No kids? Join us for coworking for $10.)
Parents must stay on-site at all times; if they leave the building, they must take their children with them. Parents must bring their own food/snack (for themselves and their children) or arrange to have it delivered. A refrigerator and microwave is available for use. Parents should also bring their own personal care supplies, clearly marked with their child’s name.
Pre-registration is required for each event, and is limited to 11 children (no more than 4 of whom can be one year old or younger). We must have a minimum of 3 children pre-registered and prepaid in order to run the program on each scheduled day – if the minimum enrollment is not met, The Center on Central will announce cancellation approximately 24 hours in advance and refund payments or credit them to a future program date.
Adults without children are also welcome to cowork with us, on a space-available basis, at a cost of $10 – please contact The Center on Central on the afternoon prior to the coworking program day you wish to attend in order to confirm space availability and arrange for payment.
Additionally, you may also register for My Smart Hands - a class that uses American Sign Language (ASL) to teach hearing babies and young, pre-verbal children to communicate their needs to their parents and caregivers. My Smart Hands Level 1 is an 8-week session starting at 9:30am (before the coworking session):
Have questions? Feel free to email me at email@example.com, or click here to register for one of these awesome coworking & children's arts sessions.
Tuesdays for infants and toddlers 6 months-23 months old, beginning April 3, 2012.
Thursdays for children ages 2-5 years old, beginning April 5, 2012.
Hope to see you there!
Our focus continues to be on the opening of our own Coworking for Parents facility, but we think this collaboration is a great start to growing our community in the meantime. If this program is successful, we hope to continue this collaboration with The Center on Central by inviting them to provide on-site art and music classes to the children in our future space.
Until next time,
