A few more things about the trip . . .
Vieques is truly reminiscent of the Caribbean of the past – quiet, lush, undeveloped, and with unparalleled natural beauty. The countryside boasts tropical vegetation and some of the 40+ pristine beaches are commonly listed among the top beaches in the Caribbean. There are more than 100 species of birds and beautiful aquatic life to be observed while snorkeling. The two towns, Isabel Segunda on the north, and the smaller Esperanza on the south side of the island, offer a variety of bars, restaurants and quaint little shops. There is something in Vieques for everyone including the world's brightest bioluminescent bay.
Before or after our retreat, consider taking some extra time to explore what Puerto Rico has to offer -- from thermal waters, to a tropical rain forest, wonderful restaurants, and the historic town of Old San Juan with its old world cobblestone streets and magnificent fortresses.
Our island home will be La Finca. This charming guest house is located high in the hills off the beaten path. The views from LaFinca of the wooded terrain and the ocean beyond are breathtaking. The 3-acre property is very private and has an abundance of colorful tropical vegetation, a salt water pool, outdoor showers, hammocks, hummingbirds and other visual delights. The rooms are simple but spotless with comfy beds. Staying at the La Finca is an experience guaranteed to inspire and ignite your creative self!Don't wait til it's too late. . .Enrollnow!!!
