Oh my! How does it go by so fast?

A new year, new thoughts, new hopes and new things to stitch.

This year I would like to clean out 4 closets (I don't want to go overboard, you know... managing expectations). I would like to increase my stitching time and decrease my golf handicap. That's possible. I would like to dance West Coast Swing and Country Two Step. Also, 2016 will include more Soup 'n Stitch dates with friends!

Crystallize is now in the finished column! The stitchguides remain up on the website and crystals are still available to order. Thanks to all that stitched along with great comments, enjoying the project.

Now, for 2016: "Gosh, Darn!" Start with a line drawn canvas, stitch the lines in white Perle #5 and then the fun begins.

"Gosh, Darn!" will be on 18 count canvas using Soy Luster Pure Palette and Vicki Day Designs Hand-dyed silk ribbon. These ribbons put the exclamation point on the Gosh!! Stunning colors, easy stitches to show off the color change.

So we begin 2016 with a clean slate (I promise to clean those 4 closets) and a pot of soup on the stove!

A large pot would be delish for Soup n Stitch. I made my variation for good luck on New Years Day. Back in the day, we never ate on rice, just plain. I add diced green red and orange bell peppers, maybe a can of roasted corn - makes it more colorful!
