AMD Grand Master visits the most delightful village in the world

.... not to check out the claim of the famous journalist and radical politician William Cobbett (who lived there from 1806-1820) but for the installation of the new District Grand Prefect for Southern Counties,
R.W.Bro. Mike Whelan.
With 140 members of the Allied Masonic Degrees in attendance it was a truly delightful meeting, but possibly not the most delightful in the world.

Attending UGLE Quarterly Communication on Wednesday 11 March?

... and stuck for somewhere reasonably priced, with great food and wine?
Many Provinces are now taking the short trip across to St. James's for the very popular Carvery @86.
Reservations are strongly recommended to avoid disappointment.

Love your Freemasonry, love your job? can combine both.

#Friday Feeling
It's good to feel liked and followed - Mark Masons' Hall and our Grand Secretary are no exception. One of the very powerful ways of building awareness and consideration towards our ten Orders is to establish a presence on social media - Facebook and Twitter are a good start - and to have that conversation with your members and potential candidates.
We would also like to share our appreciation of the great work you are all doing - please email us on with your Facebook and Twitter details. This will ensure that we like, share, follow and retweet in return - all emails will be acknowledged.
Thank you.
