Greetings <<First Name>>, welcome to this week's newsletter!

Whom then shall I fear?

A line from one of my favourite worship songs "Our God". Basically it says that if God is with us there is nothing to fear. Embracing the truth of God's existence gives us the strength and courage to do things we would never have thought possible.

The picture I chose seems, to me, to show a common fear (or perhaps fears), that of being scrutinised over everything you do, or judged for how you do things, being looked on disapprovingly by those around you. And of course a bunch of eyes in the dark is creepy enough on its own.

These days, even more than previously, it seems everyone is under scrutiny, just walking down the street with a mask on gets you looked at by those without one on, funnily enough it works the other way round as well, try it. All of sudden everyone is scrutinising everyone else. Partly, I guess, due to the atmosphere of fear and uncertainty surrounding current events.

But with all that I just return to that song, if God is for us then what can stand against....and I truly believe God is for us, perhaps what we need to think about is whether WE ARE..... now that is a whole other problem.

Have a truly blessed week and spend just a little time focussing solely on God, the result might just surprise you.
