Eid at Renaissance
Renaissance staff at various sites of operations celebrated Eid Al Fitr as a family.

Proud partner in ICV growth
Renaissance is committed to the sultanate’s economic diversification goals. Supporting Omani small businesses and boosting ICV are an important responsibility for the company. Renaissance pays tribute to their entrepreneurial spirit with ‘Ma’an: SME Success Stories’, a four-part short video series.

All on board
The inaugural RALI (Renaissance Accelerated Learning Initiative) programme has been a success. All nine trainees are now on board as employees, taking up positions in different departments. The recruitment culminates eight months of rigorous training since September 2021 when they arrived at Renaissance having undergone a stringent selection procedure carried out in coordination with Competency HR. Welcoming them to the team, Abdullah Al Rashdi, CPO, Renaissance said, “I’m proud to announce that the RALI trainees have completed the programme successfully and joined us as colleagues. RALI started as a single initiative and has now become a sustainable window to take in Omani graduates who will shape the future of the company. I take this opportunity to congratulate our newly appointed colleagues and thank everyone who contributed in shaping and executing this programme.”

Another LTI-free year at Daleel Petroleum
Daleel Petroleum has commended Renaissance for marking eight years of zero Lost Time Injury (LTI), a milestone reached in June 2021. The achievement underscores the company’s commitment to its Safety value – No harm to people, no harm to the environment. Applauding Renaissance, Essa Daghari, Admin Contracts & Support Lead at Daleel Petroleum said, “It takes commitment and dedication 24/7/365 to maintain a strong safety culture – a culture that ensures everyone goes home safely to their families. Congratulations to all the staff who contributed to this achievement.”

A hand in kindness
Renaissance participated in Al Mouj Muscat’s Kindness Festival, which celebrated the spirit of Ramadan. The company supplied 1,350 charity boxes filled with essential supplies which Al Mouj donated to workers from construction projects in the community.

Passing on the benefits
Renaissance’s Nimr site has transformed empty patches of land on its premises into lush vegetable and fruit gardens. Ample harvest from these now feeds the site’s kitchen, leading to significant savings from this voluntary sustainability initiative. As an incentive to encourage more participation, the site management is sharing a percentage of the amount saved with gardeners tending to these mini farms.

Renaissance appoints Chief Corporate Affairs Officer
Renaissance welcomes Raed Dawood as its Chief Corporate Affairs Officer, who joined the company on May 1, 2022. Raed brings over 25 years of experience and expertise in fields like telecom, audit, banking, financial services and investments, regulatory and policy affairs, corporate strategy and communications, government relations and entrepreneurship. Stephen R Thomas, CEO, Renaissance said, “Raed’s passion to shape the future of Oman through technology is inspiring and completely in sync with our Renaissance 2.0 goals. I am confident that his contributions will add significant value to the company’s new direction.”
