Yes, that is Hannah putting up the Christmas tree in November. She is a big fan of Christmas, but the real reason it went up so early was because she was setting the scene for the Resolve Christmas Card. Thanks to Kirsten Johnson for taking the photo. This month, we have also been considering if moving to the cloud is a more secure way of saving data, and one customer told us how Azure bolstered their disaster recovery plans.
How secure is my data in the cloud?
We hear this question a lot. There is a misconception that just because you can "see" where your data is when you have an on-premise server, it must be more secure. But, that's not necessarily the case. Ged takes a deep dive into the sort of issues that can threaten data security, to see if the cloud stacks up. Spoiler alert! Reduce disaster recovery response
"Azure Site Recovery provided a solution that I thought would only be available for larger organisations and budgets." Those are the words of Alan Rebbeck at Jepson & Co after he switched to Azure. For a while he had been pondering on how long it would take to recover from a disaster just relying on backup drives. Azure provided the solution he was looking for, reducing recovery rate to minutes.

Goodbye Skype, Hello Microsoft Teams
Skype for Business is a pretty popular tool - we've noticed a lot of you use it - and we do too! Well, the big news is that Teams will replace Skype, starting now for any new Office 365 customers and transitioning more slowly for existing customers. Don't worry, Teams actually has a fair few more tools. We'd recommend taking a little look at Teams to get used to it.
