Fred's getting up to steam!

After a few months of beeing in development, Fred's really getting up to steam. We've published Fred's very own website at and many more things.

House Level Sketch
We worked a lot on the initial level, the House level in which Fred starts his adventure.

Here you see the initial sketch that I started out with. The level in-game is starting to look like it more every day.

We've added a little though-bubble to show some subtle hints. For example when you start the first level, Fred's thoughts go out to the toilet, where he imagines lies the portal to a better life.
While designing the kitchen, we created this rack with a spatula and a spoon hanging from it. They both have physics applied, so you can actually play around with them.
Last week @Futterish and @AmandaFarough talked about Fred The Rubber Ducky on @VirtualEconCast. You can listen to the full episode on Spotify.
During development of the main menu, we decided this was the time to also implement a translation system. Here you can see a screenshot of the menu with several languages that use non-latin characters.
While working on the actual game, we're also busy with making sure the game will have a place to be published. So far we've got Steam in the works and I'm also in the progress of becoming a official publisher on one of the mayor console, which is really exciting!
What's cooking? Seventies inspired kitchen in Fred The Rubber Ducky.
Added a key-opens-door mechanic, which allows for a first puzzle element to Fred the Rubber Ducky.
