FIELD NOTES from Dynamo Foods
This time of year, MLH starts to burst with flavor and variety.
First came the more bitter type plants: Arugula, Onion, Garlic, Sorrel…etc…just in time to pamper the liver. Now as summer approaches we begin to be awed by the wide spectrum of local fruits and vegetables.
For Dynamo Foods! This means the custom salads and quinoa dishes will be bursting with flavor and nutrients. I love preparing food knowing who it came from and knowing that it was grown in the area that I live in.
I believe that Nutrition is the fore front of our overall health and longevity. Eating a salad a day, with a variety of toppings including, fruit, vegetables, flowers, sprouts, nuts, seeds, olive oil, citrus and avocados is probably the best thing you can do for your body. I look forward to the variety of goodness that MLH farmers bring to fruition and I know by eating what is produced and picked in my area of existence that I am aligning my body with which nutrients it can most benefit from and in a timely manner.
I really appreciate our growers for providing pure food to heal our bodies, and for the time, care and dedication it takes to do so.
I look forward to creating masterpiece salads with this bounty!

SPINACH-AVOCADO SOUP -
Dressing Sauce Dip
This is a delicious way to get your Spinach
from The Raw Gourmet
3 c spinach
½ c water
½ c seeded cucumber
½ avocado cut in chunks
2 t liquid aminos
1 t lemon juice
2 T parsley
For Dip thicken with additional
1 sm garlic clove
4 fresh basil leaves
1 T scallion
For Dressing Add 1 T Lemon Juice
2-3 T extra virgin Olive Oil and
spices to taste
GREEN GODDESS DRESSING
Yields 1 cup
From The Cleanse Recipes
1 clove garlic
Juice of one lemon (approx ¼ c)
½ c cilantro (unchopped)
1 cup parsley (unchopped)
4 T Wheat Free Tamari
½ tsp ambush plum vinegar
½ c cold pressed olive oil
Blend all ingredients in a blender for 30 seconds. Chill & Serve
