1.
"Visions are God-given callings, uniquely given to you to steward on this earth. Where are you clear on your unique vision? Where are you unclear?"
2.
"Even in the greatest of challenges, the vision doesn’t change. There are times when the how, when, and who needs to change, but the what doesn’t shift. What is challenging your vision right now? Are you dealing with it?"
3.
"Trusting the process is critical to vision fulfillment. Many times, your vision needs to be refined. Or you need refined, as you aren’t ready to hold the fulfillment of that vision. Do you trust the process or do you try to circumvent it?"

A couple Saturday nights ago, we held our 4th annual Pignon in Pella fundraiser at the beautiful Tamory Hall. It was an amazing night, filled with personal storytelling, gorgeous photos, and impactful videos. Our vision was on full display and was captured by those in the room. People were generous and we exceeded our fundraising goal for the night. Praise God! At the same time the event was starting, I received WhatsApp messages from our team in Haiti on how the country was continuing to unravel. The next week reports flood in about the incredible hardship the people of Haiti are enduring. Major gas shortages, with confirmed reports of $12-$16 a gallon for gas, if you can find it. Banks and shops closing because they can't safely operate. Schools aren't opening for the new school year. Roadblocks are everywhere. Food prices are soaring. Yet, through it all we hold the vision for life transformation. We stand in the tension of long-term development and short-term needs. We see a greater future for the families, even when external circumstances are as hard as they have ever been. For what is internal, the fortitude to persevere through it all, can not be taken away. Parents still want to be the champion of their child's story. Children want to stand on the shoulders of their parents to leap to greater heights. We hold the vision and trust the process that God is making all things new in His time. That doesn't mean it will be easy. Where is your vision being tested right now? How do you continue to strengthen your hands to hold this vision through adversity? Listen to me. Stand firm and adjust the sails as needed. But, don't take your eyes off the vision.
