"Even the quietest voice is loud when it speaks on behalf of others. Who needs your voice to speak out on their behalf this week?"
2.
"There is a chasm of difference between thinking about something and actually doing it. Many people think of good ways to influence the world, but fewer people act. What is holding you back from action?"
3.
"See the one. Listen to the one. And act on behalf of the one. Don’t get overwhelmed by the many. When one comes across your path, use your influence to make it better for that one person in front of you. Then repeat. Can you commit to this simple act this week?"

“Emails get reactions. Phone calls start conversations. And phone calls leave emotions more than emails do. People will never forget your voice nor how you made them feel.” -Simon Sinek

“Don’t wait: the time will never be ‘just right’. Start where you stand and work whatever tools you may have at your command and better tools will be found as you go along.” -Napoleon Hill |

On October 27, we will kick off our Week of Impact in Central Iowa, blessing many different people groups with world-class events, centered around bringing light to dark places. We believe a better future exists when all people, from very different backgrounds and beliefs, come together to experience change together, listening to one another's stories. Over the past few years, I’ve gotten to know Will Keeps, the Founder of Starts Right Here, running urban youth programs to change mindsets to ones of hope, purpose, and determination, providing access and resources to support participants' goals. Will and I come from vastly different backgrounds and on paper, many wouldn’t see a connection. Yet, when I needed help to open doors to bring our Week of Impact event to Central Iowa Prisons, Will picked up the phone to make calls on our behalf to bust down doors. Will picks up the phone for the students in his program, time and time again. He is a relentless advocate for others, helping remove existing barriers for students to transform their lives. It is a beautiful gift. When is the last time you picked up the phone to advocate for someone else, to truly give of yourself for someone else? You’ve been given a unique voice with unique relationships. Are you leveraging this gift to bless others? This week, pick up the phone and advocate for someone else who needs your influence. Don’t overthink it, as it is easy to over-complicate these things. Just do it and watch the ripple.
