3 Points To Ponder

1.
“Just like you can’t stop the tide, you can’t stop your story from happening. It is being told all the time -- through spoken words and actions. For those closest to you -- family, friends, and community --  they will be left with the impact of your story. Are you building a story worth building on or will others have to rebuild after you?”

2.
“Each of us carries an inner voice that has an amazing influence on how we interpret the world around us. When is the last time you’ve examined if the voice in your head speaks truth?”

3.
“No one changes their life, let alone another life, without being all in. One can’t be half-in, half-out to bring lasting transformation. And this starts with our identity. Are you willing to die to your current way for a new and better way?”

2 Quotes To Share

1.
“Examining how we instinctively make choices is a powerful step in making better ones." -Seth Godin

2.
“Every action is like a pebble dropped into a pond-- it sets up ripples that can go far. In all our interactions with others, we can make a difference for good."-Tom Morris

1 Story of Impact

Each day, our Spiritual Shepherds in Haiti go home-to-home through a community to offer encouragement, prayer, and affirmation to people so they know they are seen and loved. After witnessing so many hardships, these Shepherds formed a Generosity Committee, to help people with extreme hardships, family crisis, or medical emergencies. During one of these visits, they met Madame Manie. Her husband recently died, she broke her leg, and there were 10 people living in her 4-bedroom, 200 sf, rock and mud house. The Generosity Committee was able to encourage her, pray with her, and bless her with food for the family. This is what Love in Action looks like: daily acts of blessing to bear with one another in times of trouble. Do one more good thing today than you did yesterday.
