Partnership Traceability and Big Data: Next steps

At a time when the world is still immersed in its fight against COVID, the challenges for all human communities, but also for all the economic sectors, are still critical. In the case of the agri-food sector, the pandemic has given a mandate to all its actors to accelerate their digital transformation processes and has urged them to act with more transparency and efficiency towards the consumers in these uncertain times.
Our Traceability and Big Data Partnership, aligned with the mission of innovation and sustainability in the agri-food value chain, faces this last four-month period of the year, reaffirming its willingness to act as a connecting network of actors, tools and initiatives; and as a driver for the identification of innovative technologies with the potential to generate interregional innovation investments able to face the current crisis.
In the coming months, our Partnership will also be very attentive to contribute in our activities and Projects to the Sustainable Development Goals and the Global Agenda 2030; and will continue its efforts to support our member regions in activities of dissemination, mutual learning and capacity-building; as well as to prepare our agrifood regional innovation ecosystems to identify synergies and be prepared for the next EU Programming period.
